Uninstall
Removing Demi
takes about a minute.
Four steps to take the app off your Mac, then two things worth clearing up afterwards. No uninstaller to download and nothing to run.
Four steps, all in Finder
- Quit DemiIf Demi is running, quit it from the menu bar icon, or press ⌘Q with the app focused.
- Open your Applications folderIn Finder, choose Go, then Applications.
- Move Demi to the TrashDrag Demi to the Trash, or right-click it and choose Move to Trash.
- Empty the TrashThat finishes the removal. Demi is off your Mac.
Two things the Trash does not cover
Neither is required to finish the uninstall, but the second one is the only way to be sure Demi can no longer read anything.
- Preferences and cacheoptional
- In Finder, choose Go, then Go to Folder (⌘⇧G), and delete each of these:
~/Library/Application Support/Demi~/Library/Caches/ai.demi.desktop~/Library/Caches/Demi~/Library/Preferences/ai.demi.desktop.plist - Connected accounts
- Removing the app does not revoke the accounts you connected. Disconnect Demi from each service’s own third-party app permissions page: Gmail, Slack, your calendar, and anything else you linked.
To delete the data Demi already holds, email privacy@demi.ai and ask. The Privacy Policy covers what is held and for how long.
