There is nothing to port. Download Demi for Mac, connect Gmail, Calendar, Slack and your CRM, and it starts staging work the same day. Whatever your Hermes install had learned stays where it is if you want to keep it running alongside.
The project is MIT licensed and free to run, and you bring your own model API keys, so there is a usage bill underneath it. Nous Research also sells credit-bearing tiers for access to hosted models. The software being free is not the same as the agent being free to operate.
